Rest in Peace, Pentti!
🇫🇮🌲 Today, the Finnish radical ecologist Pentti Linkola died. Born in 1932, he was one of the foremost and unforgiving proponents of a return to our roots and a relentless critic of the modern industrialised world that ripped out the soil from beneath us. He was also fervently against artificially ballooning Africa’s population by keeping them fed, and then importing their human excess to the already overfull European consumer societies.
His book “Can Live Prevail”, first published in 2009 in English, is definitely worth reading in these times where the globo-industrial system is grinding to a halt. Grab a copy here (https://arktos.com/product/can-life-prevail/) to support the publishers.

Gone is now the great warrior Pentti Linkola, who struggled for conservation of nature against the cult of eternal growth. He lived a humble life, living exatcly as he preached, and bought lands to be made into living area for threated species in Finland, such as the Eurasian Otter.
